The Kill Switch automatically cuts your network if the VPN connection unexpectedly drops, preventing your real IP and traffic from being exposed 'in the clear'.
How to enable it
- Open the client and go to Settings;
- Find the 'Kill Switch' toggle and enable it;
- Also enable 'Auto-connect on launch' to further shrink the exposure window.
Once on, if the VPN briefly drops while switching networks or nodes, the system blocks all traffic until the connection is restored — so your privacy never lapses.
